This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we handle it, and the rights you have over it. We have written it to be read, not skimmed — the site collects very little, and we would rather say so plainly.
Who we are
This website (www.truoco.com and its subpages) is the marketing site for ARGOS, a product of Truoco. The website is operated by, and personal data collected through it is controlled by:
Prymera Consulting Private Limited
Unit No. 10, 16th Floor, Aurora Waterfront, GN-34/1, Sector V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700091, West Bengal, India
Email: connect@remitso.com
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Prymera Consulting Private Limited as the data controller. If you are an EU/UK visitor, we act as a controller under the GDPR / UK GDPR for the limited data described below. As a company established in India, we also handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers only the public marketing website. The ARGOS application itself (argos.truoco.com) is a separate, invite-only, multi-tenant product. Personal and business data processed inside the application is governed by the contract and data-processing agreement in place with each customer firm, not by this website policy. For full transparency about the third-party providers ARGOS relies on and where they are hosted, see our Sub-processors page.
What we collect
The website is deliberately low-data. There is no account system, no advertising, and no third-party marketing pixels on it. The one exception is opt-in analytics, described below — nothing about it runs unless you actively consent.
1. Demo-request details (the only personal data you actively give us)
If you fill in the “Request a demo” form, you provide:
- Name
- Work email address
- Company
- Optionally: your role, jurisdictions of interest, and any free-text message you choose to add. Please don’t include sensitive personal data or confidential case details in the free-text field.
When you submit the form, the details are sent by email directly to our team to arrange the demo and follow up. We are integrating a customer-relationship management (CRM) provider, HubSpot, to handle this instead — once that's live, submissions will go through HubSpot's API without HubSpot's website-tracking script, so no HubSpot cookies would be set on your device. Either way, we use these details solely to contact you, arrange and run the demo, and follow up about it — not for automated advertising.
2. Technical data (handled by our hosting provider)
Like any website, when you visit, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information needed to serve the pages — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request — in server logs. The site's typeface is self-hosted, so no font request goes to a third party. We don’t use this technical data to build a profile of you, and we don’t combine it with your demo-request details.
3. Analytics data — only if you consent
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use this site — pages viewed, referral source, and (via Clarity) heatmaps and session recordings to spot UX friction. Neither tool runs by default. A cookie banner asks first; both load only if you click Accept, and you can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. Full technical detail — exactly which cookies, and for how long — is on our Cookie Policy. Clarity masks sensitive on-page content (form field values, free text) before it ever reaches Microsoft's servers.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
| What | Why | Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Demo-request details | To respond to your request, arrange and run the demo, and follow up | Your consent in submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated (Art. 6(1)(a)/(f)) |
| Server logs | To serve, secure and keep the website available | Our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Analytics (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity) | To understand site usage and improve it | Your consent, given via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a)) — withdrawable at any time |
Under India’s DPDP Act, we rely on the equivalent lawful ground of processing for the specified, lawful purpose you gave your data for (arranging a demo).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc.) — our CRM provider for demo requests, currently being integrated (not yet live — demo-request emails are handled directly by our team in the meantime). Once live, HubSpot will act as our processor under its Data Processing Agreement, using its EU data-hosting option where available.
- Email & productivity provider — to correspond with you about your request.
- Website hosting / infrastructure provider — to serve the website and maintain server logs.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — visitor analytics, only if you consent via the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy.
These providers act under our instructions or their own privacy terms. We may also disclose data where we are legally required to (for example, a lawful request from a competent authority).
International transfers
We are based in India, and some of our providers operate in other countries (including the EU/UK and the US). Where personal data of EU/UK individuals is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or an adequacy decision, as applicable.
How long we keep it
We keep demo-request correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and then for a reasonable period for our records — typically up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a longer period is legally required. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then rotated.
How we protect it
We use HTTPS across the site, keep access to the demo inbox limited to the people who need it, and follow the same security-first posture that ARGOS itself is built around. Prymera Consulting Private Limited operates a certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022 information-security management system (Certificate No. KDACI202601011). No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
EU / UK representative
As we begin offering the service to individuals in the EU and UK, we will appoint a representative under Article 27 of the GDPR and UK GDPR where required, and publish their contact details here. In the meantime, you can raise any data-protection matter directly with us at connect@remitso.com.
Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you have rights over your personal data — including access, correction, deletion, and objection. We’ve set these out in full, with how to exercise them, on our dedicated Your Data Rights page. You can reach us any time at connect@remitso.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we’ll update this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.
